How Do I Withdraw to a Bank Account?

Send money from your Peanut balance to any bank account — your own or someone else's. Withdrawals are free via SEPA (EUR) or ACH (USD), with no minimum amount. SEPA transfers arrive in under 20 minutes for 90% of withdrawals. Wire withdrawals are not supported.

Withdraw to Your Bank

  1. 1

Open the app and tap Withdraw

Select Bank Transfer as the withdrawal method.

  2. 2

    Enter bank details

Enter the recipient's IBAN (for SEPA) or routing number and account number (for ACH). You can also select a previously saved bank account.

  3. 3

    Enter the amount

Enter the amount to withdraw. The app displays the USD equivalent and estimated arrival time.

  4. 4

    Review and confirm

Check the amount, destination bank, and estimated arrival. Confirm to initiate the transfer.

  5. 5

    Wait for processing

SEPA: 90% under 20 minutes, up to 1 business day. ACH: 1-3 business days. Your Peanut balance is debited immediately.

Sending to Someone Else's Bank Account

You can enter any bank account — not just your own. This works the same as a regular withdrawal: enter the recipient's bank details (IBAN or routing + account number), enter the amount, and confirm. Available in the EU, US, and Mexico.

Info

You can save multiple bank accounts in the app. Adding a bank account is separate from identity verification — it is not verified during the KYC process.

If a Withdrawal Fails

If a bank withdrawal fails (incorrect details, bank rejection, etc.), your balance is automatically re-credited — usually within 1 day. You cannot cancel a pending withdrawal once confirmed.

FAQ

Are there any withdrawal fees?+

No. All bank withdrawals are free from Peanut. Your receiving bank should not charge for incoming SEPA or ACH transfers either.

Is there a minimum withdrawal amount?+

No. There is no minimum for bank withdrawals.

Can I withdraw via wire transfer?+

No. Wire withdrawals are not supported. You can withdraw via SEPA (EUR) or ACH (USD) only.

What happens if I entered the wrong bank details?+

The transfer may fail and be returned, at which point your balance is re-credited automatically. If the transfer went through to the wrong account, contact support immediately — recovery depends on the receiving bank.

Are there withdrawal limits?+

In the US, Europe, and Mexico there is no hard limit — transactions above $100,000 may trigger additional review. In Latin America, the monthly limit is $2,000 USD combined across all fiat operations. Limits can be increased with additional documentation.
