Why Is My Deposit Not Showing in Peanut?
Most deposits confirm in 1 to 10 minutes. If yours has not appeared, check your transaction status on-chain or in your banking app. Deposits usually arrive within minutes, but network congestion or sending from a slower chain can cause delays. This guide walks you through how to check your deposit status and what to do if something looks wrong.
Expected Confirmation Times
Different networks and rails have different speeds:
Deposits from external wallets:
| Network | Typical Confirmation Time |
|---|---|
| Solana | Under 1 minute |
| Arbitrum | 1-2 minutes |
| Base | 1-2 minutes |
| Tron (TRC20) | 1-3 minutes |
| Avalanche (C-Chain) | 1-2 minutes |
| Polygon | 2-5 minutes |
| Ethereum (ERC20) | 3-10 minutes |
Bank transfers:
| Rail | Typical Confirmation Time |
|---|---|
| SEPA | 90% under 20 minutes |
| ACH | 1-3 business days |
| Wire transfer | 1-5 business days (international), same-day (domestic US) |
If you sent from Ethereum during heavy network traffic, waits of 10 or more minutes are normal. SEPA transfers can occasionally take up to a few hours. ACH and wire transfers do not process on weekends or holidays.
Check Your Deposit
- 1
Find your transaction details
For wallet deposits: go to your sending wallet or exchange and find the withdrawal transaction. Look for a transaction hash (TX hash or TXID). For bank transfers: find the transfer confirmation in your banking app and make sure you included the reference number that Peanut provided.
- 2
Check transaction status on-chain (wallet deposits)
Use a block explorer for your network: solscan.io (Solana), arbiscan.io (Arbitrum), etherscan.io (Ethereum), tronscan.org (Tron), polygonscan.com (Polygon), snowscan.xyz (Avalanche), basescan.org (Base). Look for the transaction status — it should say confirmed or success.
- 3
If not confirmed yet — wait
Your deposit is still in transit. This happens during network congestion or when exchanges batch withdrawals. Wait for on-chain confirmation. Once confirmed, Peanut will detect it and credit your balance.
- 4
If confirmed on-chain but not in Peanut
Wait up to 15 minutes after on-chain confirmation for Peanut to process it. If it has been over 30 minutes, check that you sent on the correct network and a supported token (USDC, USDT, or DAI). Contact support with your transaction hash if the issue persists.
- 5
If your bank transfer is not showing
Check that you included the reference number — this is the most common cause of delayed bank deposits. Verify that the name on your bank account matches your Peanut account. Note that fiat transfers initiated on non-business days will not process until the next business day (except SEPA Instant, which works 24/7).
